Lady, I'm from Texas and down here in Texas, we all know how to grill, anything your little heart could ever want, including fresh roadkill!
My Daddy always told me that if your grilling meat and you put it on a plate and it don't go crawling off the plate, then, son, that meat is done!
Medium rare, did you say?

How about a nice boneless New York strip steak, about an inch thick, with sauteed onions and mushrooms?

i do.. but my hubby does it better... i dont know how,,, i grew up in the usa. barbeque every summer, and sometimes in the winter too..
he is from italy, and never had a grill.... not like we do here. but he somehow is so much better at it... must be a man thing, fire and all....lol
