one of my back garden wooden door is developing fungus like thing. i clean it every week but still it grows back within few days. whn sprinked hot water it just becomes red but again it will grow back. tell me some home remedy to get rid of this thing.

Take a spray bottle and mix one part bleach to five or six parts water. Sound like the fungus is like mold . This is a very good way to kill this type of growth. Hold the spray bottle close and put it on fine mist so as not to get it on anything else.

Spray on Clorox cleanup - will kill the micillium (roots) that are growing in the wood.

powerwasher, or take a sample of it to a local plant store and see if they can tell you what it is and how to get rid of it.

just change the door or may be it will spread into the house too.. may be it costs but its hmuch harder if it spreads.....
