It acts like it is performing system restore, but then a message comes up that says "Restoration Incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored to (date). No changes have been made to your computer." My system restore is NOT turned off. Microsoft claims I have no viruses or spy/adware causing this. No matter what date I pick, it still does this. HELP!!!!!

Goto-->Tools-->Folder Options-->View-->hide Protected Operating System Files(Recommended) Uncheck That Option And See In C Drive And Also In All Drives You Can Find It And You can See Their All Dates Restore Point And In That There Will Be Data Copy It

i have a windows XP and my computer said the same exact thing now what i did was i called Dell and they helped to restore the computer with nothing of charge u can try calling them they take u step by step and then they will give some kind of code that u put in to the computer and from there the computer will restore.
