I'm the same. I am 15 and I can say no one has the same interests as mine and you know, I sometimes feel lonely for that. It's not like I don't have friends or something. I can't talk to my friends about my interests like social sciences, politics, sports and classical music. And it really annoys me that most of those songs are about those things. I think when someone doesn't like something it means the don't understand the beauty of it. For example I have to admit that I don't understand football and that's why I don't really like it. For me it may seem like some people just chasing a ball. And I love tennis because I understand it way better than football. For other people it may seem like it's only 2 people hitting a ball and it's so boring. Actually that's because the don't understand what's behind it. I think the same thing goes for music. Not all people can listen to classical music. Some people need other things. They do need drugs, sex etc. in all parts of their life. That's something that can catch every human, so the media gets more profit by producing that kind of music. That's why we hear pop and rock a lot more in our lives. If you want to listen to classical music, you have to understand it and to understand it, you have to listen to it and grow with it, but most people people grow with pop, rock, rap etc.

I am a professional musician, classically trained since 7, went to a jazz school for higher education. I absolutely can't stand classical music even though I was surrounded by it. It is extremely boring, I remember how much I couldn't bear the rehearsals. Modern music on the other hand is a different story !!!!!!!

No I happen to enjoy it. I actually appreciate every music genre. Classical music has it's own interesting sound..i like to relax to it and dream under classical music. It's actually pretty amazing. What's funny is that i love both hip hop AND classical . I love ALL kinds of music..one you can dance to, one you can dream to, one you can......(fill in the blank yourself).

some times gives me energy but i really prefer to listen to rock musics,even not rap and hip-hop
but ppl that like to listen to classical music,they're enlighteneds ....i have an uncle that he's like this and oove classical but i am not agree

No I love it. Its relaxing and it takes me back for a moment to somewhere I would like to go. It gives a glimpse of the past. Don't get me wrong I have more rock cds than classical, but the classical I do have are more treasured.

Did you know the guys who wrote classical music were the Gangster Rappers of their generation?
They were the latest hippest music makers of their time.
I'm not a fan of classical music or rap, but I do appreciate the energy and enthusiasm put into both genres.
