McDonalds restaurants are usually independently owned since the restaurants are franchises for the most part so the manager is directly under the owner. You might also check into where the district office is located for the particular restaurant in question and you could file your complaint there and they would contact the owner and register your compalint with the owner. Most large corporations do not like to receive complaints either from customers or employees so they will definitely follow up on it for you to make sure your complaint is heard by the proper person and that action is taken to rectify the complaint as long as it is legitimate.

Generally speaking the store manager's boss is the area suspervisor and district manager. In smaller organizations (maybe 1 or 2 stores) managers report directly to the owner.

Usually there is a corporate office in the district that runs all the ones in that district. My daughter worked at McDonalds for awhile and there actually was a corporate office right in our city that ran all the McDonalds in the district. I don't now if the district is decided by county or just an area of the county though. If you can't find the corporate office in your area, you can find one in another district and ask them who you need to contact about him.

The owner of the franchise. Usually the same owner will own several McDonalds in his region, and you need to ask who owns the chain.

I am not sure if McDonalds is a franchise or not. If it is, you speak to the franchise owner, and if not, you speak to the district manager.

Here are some numbers I found:

Call us. Within the U.S., you can call us on our toll-free telephone number at 1-800-244-6227.

alot of mcdonalds are independently owned, so it would be the owner, but they all have to adhere to the same standards. you can always complain to mcdonalds coorporate offices.

the district manager is above store manager but most Mcds are franchised, so I would call their corporate number to find out specifically who you need to talk to.
