I think a french manicure looks better on slightly longer toenails but regular color looks better on shorter toenails. They usually are longer in the winter and in non-sandal wearing season. They're too long when they touch the inside of the tip of my shoes.

Probably when I make a misstep & shear off a large strip of toenail 2 expose a little skin. Ouch! I h8 that! Happens w/ fingernails, 2.
