Stay with Firefox. I used to use Internet Explorer for quite some time but after a while it started to lag and get confusing with toolbars. After getting frustrated with this, I chose Firefox and I haven't turned back. Firefox is amazing. You can find all different layouts and interfaces so that if you don't like the original you can change it. Also, there are TONS of additional features that you can find on the web and they don't clutter up the screen. My personal favorite "add-ons" are FoxyTunes, ScreenGrab, and Facebook Toolbar if you haven't downloaded any yet.

Don't you like Firefox? Firefox is my personal favorite, but there's Opera too. Opera is small, lightning fast, and comes with loads of in built features - BitTorrent client, IRC chat client, Speed Dial etc.

Internet Explorer is best because it has pre installed plugins but if you use Firefox then you need to install some plugins.
Netscape navigator is also good

IE for the activex pages and firefox for everything else.

but try to avoid internet expl because a lot of virus are written for ie
