Family problems....messed up my concentration....i can try harder..trust me i'll do excellent this time...ur yea:)

Create an excuse for not having enough time to study (don't say you fell ill and can't study at all). Probably you felt a little ill and started studying later than you should had done so.
You had to rush through, couldn't cover everything on time
assure them that given a chance, you'll do better

you had a really hectic day yesterday and fell asleep before you had time to study
you hit your head and got knocked out for a while
you forgot to bring your book home so you couldnt study
your family member was hurt so your mind wasnt all there as you took the test

If you don't have any doctor's notes, jut tell them you've been DEEPLY depressed & make up a fake sad, sobbing rape story & say you were to afraid to report it. They'll understand. This happened to someone I know, but she was TRULY raped, though. Stuff like that does bring your grades down & make you depressed, so they'll be more likely to believe you if you have no proof.

a family memeber was sick and you had to take them to the hospital
