It could be a number of reasons....or no reason at all because it is just the nature being a baby.

You might be over feeding Or not burping well enough.

Maybe you need to establish a routien way of getting ready for a nap or bedtime. Lights low, very quiet or very gentle music. Speak softly. Be cuddly and comforting. Work on having a special teddybear or blanket that will become special to the child so that when mommy isn't around the baby can find comfort with something they can hang on to.

Talk to your doctor about the sleep issues. Baby might have some acid reflux. Or some digestion issues or ordinary gas problems. Have you tried the over the counter gas drops?

Hang in there... a 6 month old baby is still very new to the world. And as soon as you figure him out, he will change.

probably teething try some baby orajel before you put him/her to sleep. If thats not the case bathe baby everyday before bedtime its kinda like a signal to go to bed.

it could be a number of things, like colic,(wrap them in a arm blanket and rock them.)or not enough to eat {maybe needs more}.takes to much naps in the day time,teething,ear trouble.it could be alot of things what i really know is it can wear you out.good luck.
