No, it's really not.
But it's done often.

First of all, you mean WRITE. The word "RIGHT" refers to a direction or a side (your right hand). You can put BUT at the beginning of a sentence if you are comparing/contrasting something you said in the previous sentence. It is similar to using HOWEVER.

In theory, sentences should not start with conjunctions like 'but.' However, this rule has been ignored by reputable writers to such a degree that few would question the use of the word 'but' to begin a sentence.

What you should have asked was
"Is it OK (or O.K.) to use the word 'but' at the beginning of a sentence?"
You should probably use punctuation to form a complex sentence.
Not
"It used to be considered 'Bad English'. But nowadays since nobody seems able to spell, fewer people seem to care":
but
"It used to be considered 'Bad English', but nowadays since nobody seems able to spell, fewer people seem to care".

Depends on what you're writing...
In English, no...but I often do when writing news stories if it is appropriate. In journalism you use more of a free style of writing.
And it's "write" not "right"

"BUT" is acceptable BUT typing "RIGHT" instead of "WRITE" is absolutely unacceptable.
