Someone tried to tell me that it was a man, who looks like woman trying to look like a man, that likes men....confusing huh? im not trying to be offensive, even though I am...but i really want to know what it is!

Well a dyke is generally a lesbian (a butch lesbian who looks like a man) and a f ***** is an insulting term for a gay person (usually a gay man). Whoever insulted you was just shouting homophobic abuse at you. Their insult doesn't even make sense, so pay no heed to it :-)

I think that some ignorant, narrow minded individual was trying to insult you. I'd suggest that the term d--e, f----t was meant to indicate that you are a homosexual,(d--e), and that you took the top or butch,(f----t), role.
Whatever your orientation is don't let someone so foolish ruin your day. In the scheme of the world, what does it really matter who you chose to sleep with? Good people are good people, and jerks are jerks, regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion, body size, etc.....
Sorry so long winded but this question touched a nerve. I had a jerk behind me at a baseball game today, making fun of just about everyone in view. Still a little ticked about the idiots behavior.

I thought it would be a contradiction of terms...dyke= lesbian and ******= a gay male... but I guess they could have being saying you look like either a trans-gender or cross-dresser or a dominant lesbian...the one that perhaps takes on the male role in a gay female relationship. Or may be it was just a random string of abuses that didn't really make any sense...

I wouldn't put too much though in any analytical reasoning over the thoughts of one who uses very little [if any] brain power.
I think that person's comment towards you was just random ramblings with no thinking associated with it.

I think they were trying to imply that you might be gay. If you aren't you shouldn't worry about it. If you are you probably shouldn't worry about it either.
They were not being nice.
