go ahead with screws, much better job.
and if ever you decide to move the shed it's much easier to undo a screw than to extract a nail..
don't forget to use galvanized or zinc plated nails on all exterior applications.
oh, and you might need do drill pilot holes in some cases to stop the timber from splitting.

As many say; go with screws; no matter that you love an "object" whatever size Galvanized Decking Screws.
The issue is not at all about expense or ease; it's more that over time the hole created by a nail will "WALLOW" out, and the nail will loosen; even if galvanized. The very design and purpose of a screw is to GRIP, not just attach.

Sure go ahead. Screws and bolts. I use screws in my decks, to put the metal roof on my garage, even to make bird houses. Screws actually seem to hold wood together better than nails. And if for some reason you need to remove the screw it is usually easier than pulling nails. One warning, screw heads can be broken off pretty easy. So, be prepared to deal with that.

If you use the right screw for the job it will last even better than nails. Generally nails are used instead of screws because nails are both, cheaper and faster than using nails.

Screws are more expensive. Nails will do just fine. Don't forget to use galvanized on exposed areas.

Just don't use drywall screws. They don't work for structural applications, they are snap off real easy. Use galvanized decking screws and you will be fine.
