Well it depends on situation. If you think that ur secret revealing will harmful to him then better to keep it secret but if u think is not so worthy then better to open up to ur friends. Remember always three thigs never keep a secret to 3 person 1)Doctor 2)Lawyer 3) Friends .If you hide ur problem from doctor then ur disease will never cure. if hide ur problem to Lawyer then ur case will never win and if you hide ur secrets to ur friends then ur problem will never solve.. So better to tell him if there is no harm..

depends FIRST--on what that something is, and SECOND--how important your word is to you. Many priests know things that, if revealed, would prevent someone from getting hurt, but the seal of the confessional is sacrosanct and absolute, even in court under oath. How important is your promise--that if you break your word (promise) that NO ONE will ever trust you again? Weigh that against revealing what you know and helping that ONE person not get hurt...when you have compared the consequences of your next action (tell or not tell) then you will know the right thing to do.

If you think that your friend really needs to know and it'll be better for her to know then break the promise and let her know, i don't think she would be too happy if she found out by someone else that you knew and didn't tell her. Good luck!

Seriously hurt how? Emotionally, or physically? You owe it to her to tell her. If she's in danger specifically. It's your fault if you know and something happens to her. If you're that good a friend, you'll do it-right away!!!

You have to decide what is more important -- humilating your friend and destroying the friendship or being friends with the fool that told you to pinkie swear?

yes even if u made a promise, if it's a rumor or something she NEEDS to know, then tell her. she might even get mad at u 4 knowing and not telling her if u don't
