well, other than the obvious, they actually put a few chemicals in it to keep it from stinking. You can find the bottle in the section at walmart by the bed sheets for water beds. It is a little blue bottle. It's a real good idea to use it as your water gets to stinking reall quick... good luck!

i would guess water and waterbed conditioner to keep it clean and fresh (so it doesn't smell like stale dishwater. Eww). But whatever you put in it, just don't let Edward Scissorhands or Freddy Krueger on it :p

I had one when I was in high school and I put regular tap water in there. We treated it with some chemicals. And filled it up with a garden hose.
