the books or doctrines have been generated by arguments the fact that doubts still remain means more books will be writtten. When all doubts are settled either it will be brainless society or nirvana, we are far from it.

Yes indeedy, we need to question books and doctrines; I was raised to follow them without doubt, but doubt sowed flourishing seeds early on, and I've wanted to double-check things ever since.
So the 'arguments or contradictions' in r & s and philosophy are important, to answer your question. We always need fresh input on everything! I'm glad to get it, anyway...

Had we followed those books , Vedas, doctrines etc. No science would have been possible as you see now. No human would have got better housing,food, education, road, rail, air.
Doubt is the root of Inquiry. whether it is in material world ,or spiritual world. Doubt is must.
