IWM has had a significant drop in the last month. If you expect the total stock market will trend up in the short to medium term you might consider it.

A small disagreement with Ramu C. Yes, you can predict the future. You must believe that or not get into stocks. I mean, if you have no idea whether a stock will go up or down, what are you doing with it? So, while there is a lot of uncertainty in the future in general and in any stock in specific, you must believe that you can see around the corner just a little. It is a requirement.

Personally, I like Exxon. Always seems to go up, pays a dividend, and you can buy stock through the company without paying fees, so long as you start with $250 minimum.

I have been doing well in JAVA (sun microsystems) over that past couple weeks, looks bullish, turn around, and I see it hitting above the 52wk high in the near future. But remember tips are for waiters.
