Dixie echo- did u read the entire story the black kids were assaulted first and threatened by the DA- get your facts straight- the balck kids were responding to a series of aggravated racial events- and no white students were punished- that is the poin of the injustice! I believe I directed the question apporprialtely - for those who matter to respond!

to Larry,

the situation of whites savagely beating blacks has made the media trhoughout our country's history- "Emmit Till" is just one horrific example- also I already cited in the question- the horrific torture of a black female by a gang of white people- this story still has not recieved widespread media attention- these examples serve the point that injustice is injustice and not all is covered in the national media for one reason or another- but it is unfair to say black on white crime is not publicized it is the most widely publicized -which is why we have leaders who protect those who are not treated fairly.........Are u just angry that our peaceful protest are effective?

Are you addressing black on white hate crimes or just crimes where blacks are victims? Are you aware of the statistics regarding black on white crime? Are you aware of how seldom these crimes make it to the national media in comparison to how often white on black crimes are broadcast, even when many of the latter described incidents are found to be grossly fabricated? Do you care?

Are you aware the kid receiving the biggest sentence in the Jena 6 incident had a violent criminal history? Do you care about that? Have you looked into what white perpetrators with the same criminal background receive for the same conviction? Are you aware that 5-6 kids continuing to jump on an unconscious kid is cowardly? Can minorities not find more honorable people to defend, or is jumping people rather than fighting one on one something that is taught and encouraged in your household?

Have you done any independant research on this matter and related topics or are you just jumping on the victim mentality bandwagon? I know the latter is really easy and "cool" but I promise the former is much more intellectually rewarding.

**ADD: I have my facts straight....do I indicate above that what you are saying isn't true? I will point out, however, that someone was arrested for assaulting the black kid, and there is no evidence he was jumped by 6 people and continued to be jumped on after being knocked unconscious. Interesting how in everything I put above, you respond with that defensive paragraph.....overlooking everything else.....indicating you don't have your facts straight regarding anything I have presented and you don't care about humanity but only minorities. Quite frankly, I doubt you or anyone else care about the Jena 6, but rather how you can benefit from their struggle.

Can you link to the post where you circulated a petition against black on white hate crimes? How bout a petition to the black community to publically disavow false claims, such as with the Tawana Brawley and Duke black stripper cases? Again....do you care only of black people and in doing so are you silently admitting white victims are not of great import? And being as false claims are encouraged in minority communities because they aren't publically disavowed....how is that you know every word of what the black kids are saying is true? Why do you assume there is 100% truth here, when recent history shows that false stories and details are rather common?

"For those who matter to respond"...."black PEOPLE"....was your "appropriate direction" of the question? Written solidification your racist position, and yet you are angry of the racial tension that exists among the white kids of Jena? In standard dictionaries, that is defined as hypocrisy. In America, that is defined as normal.

The case of the Jena Six is a very controversial topic because you have two groups of people on opposite sides of the fence. I am wearing my black today because I feel that the punishment doesn't fit the crime. I'm not saying that the young men were right for fighting, but attempted murder is a stiff punishment for beating up someone.

From my perspective, based on the information that I have read, it's all about situations (the hanging of the nooses and the issue of the tree) that had gone too far. The issue with the noose shouldn't have happened at all and the individuals who committed the act should have been punished further. Anyone who has taken American History knows what a noose signifies and in my eyes, it's a hate crime. The noose incident just fuel already existing animosities between students and from this the events leading up the the beating of Justin Baker ensued.

I'm not saying that the Jena Six should not be punished for beating up Baker, however, the other three young men who hung the nooses are just to blame and should be punished as well. Justin Sloan, one of the three white males, was charged with battery for his role in the fight and was put on probation. So why is it that the Jena Six hadn't been charged with battery and given probation?

When it all comes down to it, attempted murder is a stiff charge for some kids fighting at school. Let's face it, kids get into fights everyday and some kids are jumped by a group of kids. Does that mean that they had the intent to murder? No. Almost everyone has been in a fight before in their school years and it's just a part of growing up.

George Washington is an most important guy in our historical past however he's nonetheless just one guy. The Founding Fathers noticed the devout persecution in such a lot of Europe as a truly evil. For that motive they primarily stated that during America there have got to in no way be a devout experiment for political workplace. At the identical time all the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. It explicitly states that the nation is established at the precept that there's a Creator and that "All guys are created same." Clearly, the Founding Fathers as a organization meant to recognize a Supreme Being.

"Not only is there almost no media coverage of the Black violent hate crimes against Whites, but in high profile cases when Blacks are prosecuted for heinous crimes against innocent Whites, the White victims are ignored and the Black criminals are turned into “real victims” by the media.

Nothing more clearly illustrates this point than what has occurred over the past year in Jena, Louisiana and the orgy of hatred that Jena has suffered. today, September 20, the town has been invaded by thousands of thugs like Al Sharpton who seek to make violent Black hate criminals such as Michael Bell and the rest of the so-called “Jena Six” into heroes. Even worse the entire White population of the town is facing a media lynching by being labeled racists who are unjustly persecuting Black young men.

Michael Bell, who has been convicted of four previous violent crimes, (a fact scarcely revealed by the media), led a group of six Black students to attack and unmercifully beat a White Student at Jena High School in what can only be described as a vicious hate crime. Motivated by racial hatred, the six Blacks attacked one lone White student, Justin Barker. They stomped and kicked him to unconsciousness and continued to kick him and stomp him as he lay helpless. The attack could have easily have taken his life if others had not intervened. Only by the grace of God did he survive.

To show the insane bias of this whole case, just imagine if the facts were reversed.

If a gang of six Whites motivated by racial hatred and led by a White with four previous violent-crime convictions had attacked a lone Black student, kicking and stomping him into unconsciousness, would there any concern that the leader and the other White gang members could be charged with aggravated assault? Would not there be national demands to charge the White attackers with the most serious of federal civil rights violations and hate crimes? White leaders from all over the country, even the leaders of the local town of Jena, would not be defending the White attackers, they would be condemning the attacks and calling for the harshest of punishments allowed by the law.

As far as the Media are concerned, oh yes the supposedly unbiased media, they would be interviewing the Black victim on every TV talk show across the land, discussing his fear, his pain, his suffering. They would be interviewing his crying relatives and friends. They would not be voicing any fear that the White attackers would be treated too harshly. No, they would be demanding the harshest of penalties.

Federal officials from the President on down would be calling for additional serious charges of federal civil rights violations. But you see, in the America of 2007 Whites are no longer deemed to have any “civil rights.”

When a lone White kid is beaten savagely by a gang of six hate criminals, the media is only concerned about how the Black attackers are being treated too harshly. And if you are waiting for civil rights charges to be filed against the Black attackers who violated the civil rights of the boy they almost beat to death, don’t hold your breath.

The entire Jena scenario and the coverage of it by the media show once again that it is not the people of Jena who are racists. By voting for me and by demanding justice in this case, they have shown rightly that they believe in fairness to all and that White people are now the real victims of racism in America. Once again it is shown that we must have advocates for our rights and heritage just as any other group is permitted to do so.

May the District Attorney and the people of Jena stay strong and never give in to those who seek take away their rights of life and liberty as guaranteed by the United States Constitution."

Whew! This brings up a lot of strong emotions. I feel that it's sad that we must protest just to have equal treatment in this country. I am proud that we are planning a peaceful protest and are rising to the occasion.
I've signed the petition and I am praying.

The Jena 6 have been cleared of FELONIES in court; they all now face CIVIL courts--and it's very likey they'll lose that one.

Parents of the Jena 6 should get the tricks of quickly passing over property ownerships and/or skipping town out of their feeble violent minds: Civil courts have well caught on to such tricks. Bottom line, parents of the Jena 6 ought to just get ready to hand over ALL liquidable assets over to the white student they beat and nearly killed. Assurredly, the lawsuit(s) have been drawn up.

And it's almost a fair given the Jena 6, at some point, will cross FELONY lines and snag a few years in one of Louisiana's "gated and cross-barred communities".

Frankly, I welcome the Jena 6 march: What possibly do you expect they'll accomplish? The Million Man March did little, but show the world a lot of baby birthin' was going on.

Bottom line: The black man in America is his own worst enemy.

If six white men had savagely beat and tried to kill a black boy you would all be up in arms for a five year hate crime addition. Don't give me this crap that these boys don't deserve what they are receiving.
