Ohhh, I hate all these answers...! Although some did have some good points to them. Like Scorpios being misunderstood, or Scorpios trying their hardest not to look stupid in public. (Although everyone seems to do that, really.)
But here's the thing, you simply asked what people thought of Scorpios. Not to give you a dumb, inaccurate profile or description. And certainly not to just go by what little people know. So I am going to answer this question as simply as I can...
I don't treat anyone different because of their Zodiac signs. It's all about personality, and sometimes the Zodiac sign isn't like the personality. (Or vis-versa, however you wanna look at it.)
Being me, I know my personality better than anyone. Being a Scorpio 'n reading books, I also know a Scorpio's personality awfully well. So I can tell you simply, that a Scorpios really is misunderstood, as can be all the signs. But give us a chance 'n we'll give you 1.
I'm not gonna talk about myself, saying how brilliant a person I can be. And I'm not about to list all my flaws 'n down points. I am merely going to tell ya this...
You will never know, unless you learn. And you never learn, if you keep listening to others and don't listen to yourself.

Scorpios are very private, secretive, intense, moody, jealous and cold people. Some Scorpios do not forget about something that you did to them. Scorpios sex life is excellent and they are compatible with a Leo. Some Scorpios are romantic, respectful, kind, sweet, nice, trusting, faithful, loyal, loving, caring, sexy and hot people. When Scorpios are in a relationship with someone they are in it for a very long time. When Scorpios see someone that they like they will do every thing in their power to get them.

My best friend is a scorpio. I get along very well with her. I'm gonna say i <3 scorpios. (( even if i am a libra))

Scorpios are downright kindhearted and sweet. We constantly go out of our way to help people out of the goodness our our hearts, because that's just how we are. If I had to choose one word to describe Scorpios, it would be "sweetie-pie."

Scorpios are sex personified. They have this undeniable sexual energy that borders on the torterous...which sounds great to me! I'm VERY attracted to Scorpio men for some unknown reason. They like to test their prey and don't like to feel like they're being taken advantage of. Be careful...they can be very vindictive if you hurt them! They enjoy mystery and like to be kept guessing, even if they don't necessarily think that they like playing games.

which one of these answers that says scorpios are great isnt biased (with the exception of maybe one)??? i cant stand biased answers. it makes people seem like they think they're so special and that they're the best ones LOL.
anyway, im not promoting my own sign, but i do honestly think Scorpios are bitter, creepy and defensive. they have great qualities as well but its easier too see the negatives, at least for me. my moon is in Scorpio, and thank goodness i have the kind of Scorpio moon that doesnt have all the bad Scorpio traits, like jealousy...ive never been a jealous person. but i still wish i didnt have my moon in Scorpio!! eeeh!

all the scorpios i know are very spunky and loud.not to mention hilarious!im on the cusp of libra and scorpio and dont have the jealous and possesive crap.but i am a bit secretive........
