Of course. It's the most populated city in the United States, with almost 19 million people. It has to protect more people over more area, and it should get more funds.

Yes, I live in NW oregon but I know that NYC has more important companies than most cities. few companies have anywhere near the economical impact as the ones found in NYC. Plus NYC is a well known city around the world and it is one of the cities that you can find a 3-d model of it on the internet. It would be easy to attack it again because there are many ways to get all the information you could imagine.

No, I do not think NYC should get more than other cities. As far as I know, there is a "list" of potential cities thought to be high on the terrorist radar and the money should be split among all of them.

Since they have been hit terribly already, I would wonder that other major cities may be the next targets. But we should all be equally cautious and on the alert for possible terrorist activities. Don't stop your life, but be aware.

no bc once we built up our city, then other major cities are weaker and will more likely to be attacked. besides, the terrorists didnt just attack nyc. they attacked PA as well

More significant, or repeat targets need more funding. Sorry, but it is a sad reality.
However, that doesn't mean that every city shouldn't be diligent.

Maybe its like lightning...it wont strike in the same place twice...no I think they will probably hit our nuclear power plant out here in AZ next....good thing I am nice and close....Send us that money...
