one spouse (woman or man) dies. and they donate theyre heart. then the person who got his/her heart walks into the store where the other spouse and the couples dog works. the dog then like recongnizes the persons heart. i dont kno the movie this is jus my moms description. pleaseeeeeee help.

just to let you know, the trailer skirts the issue a bit, but that is the one.. his wife was a zoologist.. first a gorilla she worked with notices her, and then when she meets him the dog does as well..

I believe the movie you are referring to is "Willard." They had a remake a couple of years ago, but the original is a classic. There was actually a sequel to it called "Ben" (because that was the name of the head rat in the original) and Micheal Jackson won an Oscar for the theme song. Imagine that, an Oscar for a love song about a rat.
