Like, are they only allowed to gamble on some things (obviously not the NHL) or some sports, casino games alright?
Im bringing this up due to the Tim Donaghy situation in the NBA.
How about the other sports like the NFL, MLB or NBA in regards to their refs gambling rules.
Do they all have the same basic limitations?

Any member of the NHL family (including myself) is prohibited from betting on any hockey event.
While not strictly prohibited, gambling in any nature, is frowned upon by the NHL (just ask Andy Van Hellemond and Jaromir Jagr).

Jagr was quietly fined by Bettman. Rumours abound that Mario was the one who paid off his debt too.

The only way Hell can make sense if you believe in a good God is that it's something you do to yourself. I see it as what happens if you have eternal life and consciously reject God. You reach a state where you are permanently unhappy and can't see any way out of that state of mind because you realise you are alone in a metaphysical sense. It's like being mad. It isn't a place but an inescapable state of mind. Heaven, by contrast, is a state of miraculous eternal bliss. It has to be miraculous because eternal life is meaningless and empty, and the rational response to it is torment. Absence of the possibility of death makes unending existence pointless, depressing and boring, and only a miracle could rescue you from that realisation. Since they are states of mind and ways of being, both Heaven and Hell are infinite. However, consider this. The only way in which God can be good is if Hell is not a punishment God visits on people but something they do to themselves, but a good God would not create immortal beings with the flaw of entering that state, even through their own will. Therefore, either God is not good, God does not exist or conditional immortality is the case. Those who are saved are annihilated at death, but the damned have eternal life. Otherwise, the Universe cannot be just.

I remember when Jagr (I think it was Jagr) got into a bit of hot water for betting on other sports. Nothing came from it though, if I recall correctly. I would assume that it would be the same for the refs, just no NHL games.

They are not allowed to gamble because it can breed debts and strange bedfellows which can lead to game fixing.
Also, NBA referees are not even allowed to tell anyone, even their families, their working schedule of upcoming games they are supposed to ref. I just know this from reading up on the Donaghy situation.
