We are here to experience Joy and to dream up new ways to experience Joy. That's it, that's all, and that's plenty. Anyone tells you any different is a liar.

Supposedly, we're here to take good care of each other. Preserve each other's well-being. Nurture each other's faith so that no one may fall into the darkest side. We're given life to give life to others who have less of it.
On the contrary though, we sometimes get deceived by dark elements to do and act otherwise. We pull each other's legs. Drag each other ground-bound with our 'crab' mentalities.
Making a living is not our primary purpose in life. It's just some injected necessity that makes life harder to bear. And yet by all means, we carry our logs up like helpless ants to save for the rainy days.

"Making a living" is such a minuscule part of life I wouldn't consider it worthy of mentioning. Ah, the "why are we here." I've always felt that ALL living things live to thrive. Nurtured by, & nourishing life. If you want to go a few steps further, to be true to ourselves & our moral compass, to find inner harmony & be aware of our interconnectedness to all things from a grain of sand to infinity. To be open-minded & humane.
This sounds so idealistic, doesn't it? Yet, while it's possible, far too many crawl out from under their rocks in the dark night & leave their slimy trails behind them. The greatest error we can make is to allow these vile demons to make us cynical; to let their slime rub off on us, & in our disdain or hatred, become like them. In spite of this, & in spite of an increasingly violent & destructive world, I'll keep my hope. For, in hopelessness is helplessness. I am "here," & I live to thrive, & in the process do my best to help other life to thrive.

I'm a christian so i think we are here because of what Adam and Eve did, we are just being tested, if you failed, you'll just cease to exist, if not you will have a good reward, eternal life and knowledge... while you are here just do your best to be happy and help others to be happy to...

I'm here because my parents had sex. What I choose to do with the time from my birth to my death is another matter.
