On my 18th birthday. We were not allowed to move out before. We could move out even if we went to college. My parents were very strick. But.......now that I am grown and have college age kids myself I am pretty much the way they were because I know they were right. I love my kids and only want what is best for them (I know I probably sound like a broken record by I do bend and give a lot). In the past 8 months I have spent over $15,000 in gifts and money to my two sons. My parents would have never done that and tell me I am making a mistake by doing so. I just do what I feel is right by God and myself. They do appreciate it immensely.
