Agreed, she's awesome! I sing her song 'Bad Reputation' in my head when people are saying crap about me and getting me down, it helps me move forward.
Plus, watch the video, at about 1:53 into it she kicks a bottle and it hits a dude in the face - now that's a rock video!

I love Joan Jett. I've liked her even since 1980 when her version of "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" came out. I had the opportunity to see her live about five years ago and she rocked.

She is actually the first live show that I ever saw.... And it was f'n awesome!! She came out with really long blonde hair and an acoustic guitar and she started singing this pretty little folk song. Then in the middle of it she ripped the wig off to show her BALD head and smashed the guitar into pieces and opened with Cherry Bomb. She's definitely been my hero for a long, long time :)

joan was the first female that really rocked, and i mean hardcore, pulse pounding, in your face rocking. Liked her
i love rock and roll, also i hate myself for loving you.....
always thought she was a better live show rocker, than actress...
