Yes. I try and pray whenever I remember. I think about it like this, God is like a friend. A friend doesn't want to hear from you once a week, a good friend wants you to talk to them a few times a day, and that's how often I try and pray. Sometimes I just pray to tell God, "Thank you". Yes but not near enough. It has been taught to me that one should pray everyday. Even if there is nothing wrong in your life and all is wonderful. You can thank Him for all He has done. He also enjoys us just coming and praying/talking to Him, that way you have a closer connection with him.

Even though I am constant communication with my Best Friend, I am terrible at formal prayer because as soon as I open my mouth the old devil tempts me to focus my thoughts on myself..."What should I say? How do I sound? What will they think?" Moses also did not want to speak in public so his brother spoke for him. I am the quiet prayer person. I hope to advance enough in my spiritual walk to be able to pray in public because I think it is good for the person to hear someone pray for them. Now what do you think of that? Mmm

Yes I pray with my child every night. Then I pray later that she is safe and healthy. and that she grows into a good person.

I used to pray before every meal and every night before I went to bed, but I've kinda eased up (not by choice). I found myself praying only when I have a strong reason to pray: if i'm struggling, give thanks, watch over a family who just lost someone, help someone else who's been struggling, etc. But I found that it does make me mentally & emotinoally sound.

Every time my mother takes a 25 mile an hour turn at 45 miles an hour. Also when my cat gets sick. And when I'm waiting for test results that might show I have cancer. For other very serious medical stuff too. It appears I'm selfish, with my prayers anyway.
