I cant decide help! ps3 or xbox 360 elite witch one should i get

The Playstation 3 without a doubt. If you have old PS1 games and PS2 games then the PS3 is a must. To me Sony makes better games than Microsoft does. Halo, Gears of War, and Bioshock aren't anything special to me.
For $20 bucks more (60GB version) you'll be getting: a Blu-Ray drive, Bluetooth, Built in Wireless connectivity, digital camera flash card slots and more.
To me 120 GB of harddrive space doesn't make that much of a difference because you can replace a PS3 harddrive with a larger harddrive anytime you want, all you do is unscrew the old harddrive out and screw in a new harddrive without any effort.
I don't know if the 360 elite has the same hardware problems that the other Xbox's have, but if they do then don't even waste your money on a Xbox.
Basically, get a PS3 because once the PS3 comes out with somemore exclusive titles it will have the best games just like the PS2 did. Even though the 360 has the most games out the only games that you would probably buy would be Halo, Gears of War, and Bioshock. I don't know why people say that the Xbox has out more games when only like 4 of the games are even worth playing... pitiful

I'll try to be unbiased as possible here. Now while many people rave that the PS3 is so good because it is a blu-ray player, that blu-ray player is only valuable towards people who would want to watch high definition DVDs instead of video games. Currently if you want a system to play video games, you should get the Xbox 360, it has a larger library of games that includes more good games than the PS3 currently has, and it is getting many of the games that used to be exclusive to the PS3 such as Grand Theft Auto 4 and Devil May Cry 4. The PS3 has potential, but until it fulfills it, the best choice for video games is the Xbox 360 elite. The PS3 also has a smaller hard-drive than the elite as the elite has twice as much. The PS3 does have free online but it isn't well executed yet, and the elite has great online but at a monthly fee. Overall, the Xbox 360 elite is better currently, but if waited long enough and if Sony does well, the PS3 may reach its ultimate potential.

X Box 360 has BIG games coming out lately. Bioshock is considered a "Game of the Year" game, the long-awaited Halo 3's out, Skate looks pretty good, and Gears of War is a downright brilliant game.
PS3's got Heavenly Sword, which looks like a great game from E-3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, which was said to be "the real reason why you bought a PS3", Final Fantasy XIII, and Resident Evil 5's coming out soon, and its prequel, RE4, was #1 on X-Play's "Top 10 Greatest Games Ever". Also, if you've got any PS games in general, PS3 will play it - though there's been reports of PS1 games occasionally messing up.
Overall, the graphics are same in realism, so this is all based on opinion. I'd suggest trying out demos in stores, and then make up your mind. If you asked my opinion, though, go for the 360, but only because it's cheaper and Halo 3's too big to miss out. Otherwise, the two consoles are pretty equal.
And believe me, I've played both the 360 and the PS3.

Xbox 360!!!!! Wayyyyyyyy better. The Ps3 has least sold systems, way lower rated games, and less features. And, the online is very disorganized. Trust me, xbox live is great. If you do end up with a 360, I recommend Gears Of War, Bioshock, Forza 2, Madden 08, Crackdown, F.E.A.R., Dead Rising, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, NCAA 08, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Overlord, Guitar Hero 2, or Viva Pinata. Those are my games. I love them. They are great. Oh, and "adrianclay81882's answer is retarded. Bioshock received a 10, Gears recieved a 9.8, and Halo is the most anticipated game ever. PS3's best game is a 9.1.

The PS3 doesn't have that many games and no good ones are coming up soon
The xbox 360 elite has a bigger harddrive and more of a game selection and xbox live is way cool

i think ps3's are cooler because you can like play movies and stuff but depending on which one has been out longer id get that one because then it would have more games.
