My cousin tried it once but he didn't get very far. He said that there was even a liscencing for it. I don't really think Ghoust hunters get paid except for what they profit off of books and being on T.V. unless they actually charge somebody to go into their house and hunt.

Professional ghost hunters do sometimes get paid. It doesn't mean that they are actually "good" or "Professional" in what they do.
Those who want to ghost hunt on their own, should probably have a day job to compensate for the equipment and things they will need to do their job. Just liek TAPS (Ghost Hunters) on TV, they have day jobs, each and every one of them. They do make money with seminars, merchandise and, of course, the TV show.

Ghost Hunters the show people? No, I think I have heard that they don't charge money for their investigations. Although no doubt they get paid by Sci-fi for the investigations that get recorded and on tv. Which is good though as it puts money into their pocket they need to offer their regular service to others for free. The gas money has to come from somewhere!
Now if you mean ghost investigators in general...well I'm sure there are both those that charge and those that don't.

I would see that if someone went to a place to send the Earth bound Spirit to the light because they are Earth bound and get paid for it was not a Spiritual Person to start with
When I go to people's places and sense Earth Bound Spirits I send them on their way to free them it does not cost me anything and I do not charge
Then maybe months later the person tells me that the house feels empty, and that they have had no encounters with Spirits
Then I know that I have done my Spiritual job and another Soul is free : )

i like it. I fantastically like the episode with the Charles Manson murders/Sharon Tate. they could ask a query and the "spirit" could make the device they have been utilizing blink as quickly as needless to declare and two times for no. Cool episode. Oh, via the way, i'm no longer a great Linkin Park fan, yet i individually like "Given Up".
