I'm sending a college admission letter of request and i don't know if i have to double or single space it.

These are highly educated academics you will be talking to, so you need to send the letter in formal Latin and triple spaced.

Just kidding.

You should format it like a business letter. Single spaced.

Most letters of that nature are single spaced. You might want to do 1.5 spacing to make it a little more readable. Double spacing is going to make it seem way too long, though. (Think about it: have you ever seen a business letter double spaced?)

You should do single-space. You can always make the font bigger if it's a short letter.

Should be handwritten single spaced.
