Can "Killer Bees" be fatal for people?

Killer Bees have been found in New Orleans are they can they be fatal for humans when they attack??

"Killer" bees have the same amount of venom of your everyday honeybee. Killer bees however are VERY aggressive and have a much larger territory around their apiary. It does not take much to provoke them and any fatalities incurred is because of the number of the stings incurred.
