No, not always.

A pure substance can be anything including a single element.
A pure compound is usually made up of a molecule so it is not necessarily one substance. It can be considered one, but if your definition of substance includes single elements then they are excluded from being a compound. Yea it is a little word play, but one of the strengths of the English language is that it is so descriptive. A substance can be anything, but a compound requires more than one item in it.

no..i don't think so
a pure substance is just one substance..A chemical substance is a material with a definite chemical composition.
a pure compound is like Recrystallization. in chemistry, recrystallization is a procedure for purifying compounds. it's recreating a pure compound.
they carry the same idea but are different.
substance is different from (compound..which is two or more.)

YES: PURE means "all the same type of
elemental atoms, like all iron atoms.
It includes: All the same type of formula units in a compound, like all NaCl units in a sample of salt.

They would all be pure because they are all the same.
