what you guys don't realize is this is just another GIMMICK. everyone is getting tired of 50 beefing to sell his records, so he TEAMS UP with kanye to get people to purchase his album. it's what he was always doing the whole time in a peaceful way and you guys are so ignorant to it.
i'm not a 50 fan but i have to respect him. that man (AND his marketing TEAM) is smart. he was getting virtually no buzz. he dropped how many singles before one blew up? how many people were honestly looking forward to purchasing curtis before the faceoff ??? now everyone's headed to the stores.
it's funny that people are saying kanye is selling because of 50. No! 50 is selling because of kanye's HELP. if i was kanye, i would've taken that opportunity. think, if 50 dropped his album without this GIMMICK, he would've done mediocre numbers and his carreer would be over because he built his whole image over the years on how much albums he sells.
But it's great for kanye because the people are demanding quality music and more creativity in hip-hop. no more "i'm shooting you" and the direct line "i'm with this model chick" and the direct next line forgets about the model and back "i'm shooting you". it's sickening.
