For me this is 2 part. Not just what you're listening to, but how you're hearing it. Check this Out!! I went out and got one of the JVC KaBoom Boxes. That was the #1, hands down, best thing I ever spent money on. My up mood tunes are really hitting on all 8 cylinders now. Question answer for me, Van Halen, ACDC, and Aerosmith. Hearing it on one of these Portable JVC's, was like hearing it again, for the first time. When you hear one, if someone you can find, or a store demo, you would do whatever it took to have one of these. They're incredible. For a portable, a full 50 watts. It's some where $300, or under. All the value of it, is in high performance speakers, separation, and power. It's doable. When I'm down, it truly lifts me up. You've got to check out E-bay, or locate a dealer. This is truly the 400 hp. GTO of mobile electronics. Input on it, for Ipods, record players, or what have you. Can't say enough about it. I currently have it hooked up to my big screen, and OMG, what a ride!!!
