When my water broke when I was pregnant with my daughter. Scary because I knew she and the excruciating pain were on the way and there was no way around it.

Two years ago when I was staying at home with a family member and he told me to leave because the voices in his head were telling him to kill me. The look in his eyes was so frightening, and I don't think I can describe it. I ran into the bathroom and locked the door but he kept ramming into and beating on it repeatedly. All I could do was cry and try to reason with him. It was probably the scariest things I've ever been through. Your is scary too Lu! :(

This is the not scariest thing, but it's the one I can think of at the moment.
Being in the state between sleep and awake, but not being able to completely wake up. That just totally freaks me out!

Several years ago my brother, his wife and myself were woken up by the sound of automatic gunfire and we realized that we were under fire and it turned out that it was a couple druggies from a nearby town that had mistakenly gotten the wrong address and were in our backyard with AK47s riddling our house with bullets that were going completely through the walls from the rear all the way through and out the front walls. We were lying flat on the floor thinking we would be dead soon. Fortunately they left and were captured moments later in a traffic stop for speeding where the cops found the AK47s and they confessed.

My son and I were about to watch a movie. He handed it to me, and in the time it took me to turn around and put it in the DVD player, he chased the cat over the back of the couch and face planted on the tile floor. I heard him scream and hurdled the couch. And he was just laying there convulsing. His eyes were rolled back into his head, and then he stopped breathing. I layed him down and tried to call 911 but dropped the phone, and the battery busted out of it. So I opened his airway and he started reathing again. That was the scariest moment of my life. I just kept screaming NO NO NO NO NO!!!! I thought he was gone forever. It was horrible.

My mother had a massive stroke at 50, I was very pregnant and had to witness the whole thing. It was a nightmare. She never learned to walk or talk again. Two years later she died of cancer. It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed.

There's too many to name. I'll tell you one but I don't think it's THE scariest thing that's ever happened to me but it's all I could remember. I literally met a pedophile online. I don't want to get into details but he almost got me. I blocked him and told a grown up. It was really scary.

I got an evil spirit in my body for about a minute and then he left my body. It was painful and scary. It is painful because it hits you really bad and when it abandons you hurts. It moves your body. It is like if somebody hits you with a soccer ball on your chest. This was almost 20 years ago. I still remember and pray to God that this do not happen to me again.
It was horrible. I get nervous when I think about it.

My dad went into his bedroom and messed with a gun for a while and then shot a hole in his wall. I was too scared to get up and go see what he did, or even to leave my room to do anything. I thought if he was shooting stuff, he might shoot me too. Since he was that unwrapped. I heard him move around soon after and knew he wasn't hurt. It was scary to know he did that. I waited till he finally went on a walk before I left home that day.
