Sorry to be the one with the bad news but Humberto is now a cat 1 hurricane and is headed your way. The eye of it is expected to hit the Freeport or Galveston area. I don't know where exactly Livingston is, but if it is anywhere near these two areas, expect it to hit you. Unfortunately we have had a lot of rain this year in Texas and we are in the peak of hurricane season.Just feel lucky that y'all didn't get hit with Dean or Felix. Here is a link of paths of past and present hurricanes.

Humberto is a weak Hurricane so I wouldn't worry too much about it. You will more than likely see some flooding and maybe a few isolated tornado's but it shouldn't be too bad. Honestly if I were you, I'd be more worried about Tropical Storm Eight. It hasn't developed into a named storm yet but it more than likely will in the next couple of days and from it's projected path, it could hit anywhere from Felix hit to Florida. You can also track Tropical Storm 8 on that hurricane tracker.

You mean Hurricane Humberto, is became a hurricane overnight and is expected to be in Texas anytime. If you live in Southeast Texas you are now under a hurrican warning.

watch the weather channel instead of being chicken little, meanwhile all you will get is rain if you are anywhere near Houston.
