When I put '^4', I mean the variable 'r' is raised to the 4th exponent. How do I get the two variables, a and r alone? And how to solve for both?

insufficient constraints to solve for both

a = r^4 / 512

or

r = (512 / a)^(0.25)

If both a and r need to be integers, there are two fairly obvious answers -

512 = 2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2*2 = 2^9 = 2*(2^2)^4 or (2^5)*(2^4)
= 2 * 4^4 or 32 * 2^4
