ln(2) 2**x = ln(2) 9
x = ln (2) 9

2^x = 9
log (2^x) = log 9
x*log 2 = log 9

x = log 9/log 2 = 0.954/.301 = 3.17

Check by doing 2^3.17

You have to use natural logarithm (ln)

ln 9/ln 2 = approx. 3.16 = x

log both sides

log( 2^x) = log( 9)

=> x* log 2 = log 9

x = (log 9)/(log 2)
