I have been married more than 14 years, and sometimes when my wife walks through the door I am still utterly speechless just like the first time I saw her. I still get the butterflies and am more than infatuated with her. It really depends on the people. It can last as long as your love does.

not long, enjoy it while it lasts. Once it is gone you never get it back. I shouldn't say never. Every once in a while you feel it again for a second or two.
The infatuation doesn't last any longer than 2 years though. After two years with someone all the new dies off and then you really start the living together and learning to love one another on a different level.

It depends on the couple. I have been with my man for a year and 5 months and i still feel like that sometimes. Some people call it the "honeymoon phase" and they say it's all downhill from there. I disagree with these negative thinkers. As long as you make a point to keep it exciting and new, then it will.

oh god, isn't that the best? i'd kill to feel that again. it usually lasts a while, if memory serves. at least until you're comfortable with one another. wouldn't it be great if there were a pill for that?
if this is how you're feelilng now, enjoy the hell out of it. make it last as long as possible.

about a year, for a normal romantic inclined person. It is sad that it does dissipate and mostly turns to fondness as the years go by. But, love is like that.
