On one of our national morning shows, the anchor spoke with Kate McCann's mother regarding the pending outcome of the investigation into Maddie's disappearance. I found it rather strange that she stated that she hasn't had a 'sit down face to face discussion with them' since the disappearance, and that they were respected doctors in England. My question is this, do you find it 'odd' that a woman who's child disappeared did not find comfort in the arms of her own mother, who stated how 'close they were' (so close they haven't spoken???!!!???) and that they should be believed since they were respected doctors. No offense intended to our British friends, but isn't that what Dr. Shipton (Shipman?) banked on when he killed so many of his patients, as did Dr. Crippen when he did his dirty deeds as well, why should they be given quarter just because they are doctors. Doctors should have known better than to leave very small children alone in a room by themselves.

Very interesting point. It's all becoming a little clearer. So she hasn't been able to face her own mother all this time, it's not looking good. Not looking good at all.

yeah. rather strange.
maybe they were all so busy.
they probably all had a sit down within the group, but not a face to face one. but still rather strange.
