My daughter is really smart. She got a 1590 (Math and Reading) on her SAT and a 3.9 GPA. Well, she graduated at the top of her class and was valevictorian of her grade. She applied to many colleges and was accepted to Yale University. I could not get any scholarships for her and I cannot get student loans because my credit score is horrible because I lied that I was bankrupted to save my cash and stuff. I am no rich at all. I cannot afford it and cannot get a loan because I got into trouble with the bank manager, falsely sued him for "hitting" my car. What should I do? I don't know if I should have my daughter go to college or not? She wants to go and go to its Medical School....jeeze, I'm gonna be dirt poor when she' done with schooling. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely you should have her go to college. She can take out loans to cover some of the expenses; it isn't usually the parents who take out the loans. She can also get work-study. It sounds like you have made a lot of mistakes in your life. Don't make one which would doom your daughter to the limits you have experienced if she has a chance to get out.

The first two options I am suggesting are what I would consider if I was in your position. Both offer a means for your daughter to have her education paid for. The first is the National Health Service Corps: http://nhsc.bhpr.hrsa.gov/
They offer a scholarship in exchange for years of service in Public health clinics and hospitals. The second is the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences: http://www.usuhs.mil/ Not only would your daughter get a free education but she'd be earning a handsome salary while going to school. Of course, she'll have a military obligation after school, but don't worry--they don't send doctors into harm's way.

If neither of those appeals to your daughter, consider an offshore medical school. They're about a third of the cost and she can get her MD just as easily through one of them as a US school.

Feel free to contact me directly if you need additional info.

I would definately send you daughter to school, even if it means moving to a smaller house.
