If you are intelligent enough not to judge then you will always be happy.
As soon as you start judging you find something to be unhappy about.
It really is that simple.

No is not true none of it. Being intelligent among other things means to want to be happy. There might be ignorant people that are happy and(or look happier than super intelligent ones who are unhappy. But simplicity doesn't mean ignorance and is heart talk, I believe.
Knowing unpleasant things on anything or anyone we really love is not a reason to want not to know - on the opposite, we love more and are more for that cause or person if we are aware that problems existed. The bigger is our wish on being happy the bigger is our power on thank for it

Ignorance is bliss in the way that if you take no notice of the bad things in your life, like certain situations or people who are out to get you, you can live your life in bliss so to speak because your not letting these things get to you. Intelligence has nothing to do with it, there are smart and dumb people everyone with all kinds of emotions going on at once... bottom line is life is what you make it, you can either let things get to you or you can let it slide.

Not always. Sometimes, being ignorant may make you unhappy because you don't realize that there is something wonderful right under your nose, but you are too ignorant to realize it. Then you spend tons of time, money and/or energy looking for something that you'll never find because you wouldn't know it when you saw it due to your ignorance.
I think intelligence only leads to unhappiness when the intelligence is not tempered with common sense and determination. So many intellegent people never succeed at things because they think that just because they are smart they don't have to work. And then there are people who aren't particularly intelligent who succeed beyond all expectations just because they know they aren't smart so they work harder to succeed.

As Bernard says, a drunk man may be happier.
From experience I see that the greatest fear is that of the unknown - the most ignorant people I know are the most fearful and unhappy, they fear far more as they do not understand other cultures, philosophies etc etc
So theoretically perhaps yes, practically no.

No. Thinking is the source of unhappiness. One can still be intelligent and happy.

No where in "ignorance is bliss" does it say anything about intellegence. The opposite of the statement isn't true.
