Betty Sharlene rolls off the tongue better than Bett Sharlene. Plus, if you use the Bett Sharlene it could lead to lots of teasing in school as the child grows.

I don't suppose Betsy Sharlene is a possibility. I tend to like that better, but of course, I'm not the one doing the choosing.

Betty Sharlene sounds better if its meant in that order with Bette or Betty as a first name but if you were thinking of reversing these names Sharlene Bette would sound nice too.

Sharlene is a very nice name, but I'm not so sure about Bette, Bet, or Betty.. no offense. Hedley would be a nice name, for suggestions. Think hard about what you name your child (if it is for a child that you have/are having) because that will be her/his first name for the rest of their life.

Bette, Betty and Bet are all shorts for the name Elizabeth. Think about it well and name your child something that won't cause her pain or embarrassment. Kids have a hard enough row to hoe these days without being victims of their parent's stupidity.
