You should always root for your home team.

Jets fans cheer when their QB gets hurt, forget them.

Giants have crybaby Manning who didn't want to play in San Diego, forget them

Patriots are cheaters, forget them

Ravens are past there prime and cry when a ref calls a play against them, forget them

Dallas has TO the media hog, forget them.

Steelers are cheaters and take out quarterbacks, forget them

Detroit is good choice, always play on bird day and Kitna is a good guy.

Seahawks are a good choice, they have Alexander who is a stand up guy.

Bengals are a great choice if you like high scores and some extra entertainment.

Cleveland is a good choice if you want to root for the underdog, fans are loyal.

Colts are the favorite to go back to the Superbowl, and have good character guys like Marvin.

Many many choices!
Don't be a bandwagon fan, stick with the one you choose thru thick and thin.

I would recommend the team closest to you for two reasons:
1. Television will play their games so you can watch them without having to pay anything extra for special stations

If you don't have any local clubs, Im assuming you dont want to watch a team lose every week so I will talk about some good ones. teams that will win a lot are Colts, Pats Chargers. Teams that win quite often are Seahawks, Ravens, Steelers, Cowboys.

Pats are in a cheating scandall so right now there are a lot of people who dont like them but they are still the best team overall, and although I agree what they did was wrong it was blown out of proportion.

Colts are a good team that will be successful this season. They seldom have any scandals and are certainly a contender.

The Chargers are a bunch of little crybaby's and will probably make it into the post season but not deep in. They are talented, but they wine and cry alot.

Seahawks are good, they have a solid coach good running back pretty good quarterback and decent defense.

Ravens are OK. Not a superbowl calliber team, but a playoff team.

Steelers are another team that is good but probably not a superbowl team this season.

Cowboys are good. They get into trouble once in a while but overall not a bad choice.

If your not gonna go with the team that plays nearest to where you live then you only have one choice...the freakin Detroit Lions!!! They are on the verge of going from pond sludge to Super Bowl Contenders in the next few seasons and you can say that you were A Lions fan before being a Lions fan was cool. Lions 34 Minnesota 17 (2 and 0 baby!!!)

My question to you is, what city do you live in? If you live near an NFL city, or in the same state as an NFL team, I say support that team...

...Otherwise, just keep on watching football. Familiarize yourself with the teams, the best players, etc. Over time you'll likely start to develop an affinity towards a team, for your own reasons.

i moved around plenty whilst i grow to be too youthful to bear in ideas so there are assorted communities I liked becoming up. My kinfolk is from San Diego yet we lived in Chicago as properly so I grew up liking the Bears yet no longer sufficiently previous to bear in ideas the Chargers. i could consistently root for any California group regardless so i grow to be chuffed seeing the 49er dynasty of the 80s and 90s. yet as I moved to our very final holiday spot becoming up, i exceedingly bear in ideas my aunt giving me a Yankees jacket as a going away cutting-edge to Connecticut. The Yankees have been destined to be my widespread baseball group as i grew up from a boy to a guy. I observed each and everything grow to be proper with huge apple and each little thing grow to be incorrect with Boston so I hate the Sox. i locate i'm greater passionate related to the Yankees than i'm approximately my widespread soccer group the Chargers and a particular 2d the Titans.

The team of your hometown. Don't just pick a winning team like the Patriots if you weren't born in New England that makes you a front runner.

Home team. Don't be a homo and jump on a bandwagon that people think are good, IE steelers, colts, pats.

Always go with home team or family team.
