Well 23 is not too young, that's how old I was when I got engaged. Marriage is serious and I wouldn't say yes only cuz he's "so cute". But then again if yall have been together for 7 yrs I guess yall are a good match - so congrats!!!!

Why the hesitation? If you love him and want to spend your life with him the answer should be pretty obvious. So why exactly are you unsure? The fact that you didn't immediately say yes, and are asking advice on Yahoo is a bit scary if you two love each other as much as you claim.
It's time to go figure out why you're hesitating. Spend a few hours just thinking about what your life would be like married to him, and if you dumped him. You have to determine what's stopping you at this point.

If you can't imagine life without him, then marry him. Age is not indicative of readiness. Maturity is key. I married at 23, 10 months after having my first child. We're coming up on 6 years of marriage and I still love him. In fact, more so today than I ever have. I say go for it!

I think you need to take some time to think about the practical realities of marriage. Marriage is not romantic. The proposal and the wedding may be, but marriage is reality. Think about the practical issues of marriage and talk to him about it before you say yes. You could be saving yourself a lot of future grief if you do this.
By the way, no, I do not think that 23 is too young to get engaged at all!

Make sure you go to college first or have a good career because people change sometimes and if it does not work you have to have something to fall back on and the means to support yourself.
