Have met many people in the entertainment business. Most do not act like 'celebrities' away from the cameras. Some think they should all the time..and those ones have nothing worth celebrating. And no..I cannot go into detail about most. Tom Selleck, Tim Allen, Geena Davis, David Krumholtz I met on set and they were great with the kids playing extras..Tony Danza was rude. The others I met while working.

If Howard Hughes and Bill Lear qualify, then yes.

It was in 1969 when I was working at a Chevron station, the two of them came in to fill up their discrete looking 1968 Oldsmobile rental. They were in town to visit a local engineer who was a specialist in the field of the project the two of them were interested in getting involved with.

Oops, almost forgot. I was waiting on a guy a few months back at work here in Sacramento. He gave me a credit card that said "Brian Wheat". I remembered that name from somewhere. Anyway, I later found out that he is the bass player in Tesla.

YES. Several times.

(Dating myself, but here goes...)

When I was 28, I met Rip Taylor. I was at a seminar in Hollywood, we were given an exercise to perform during break that made us do something that challenged our comfort zone. I decided to hug everyone I came up to - whether I knew them or not. I ended up coming up to Mr. Taylor, asked him if I could give him a hug. He said yes, and asked if I wouldn't mind giving his boyfriend one too. LoL. I didn't even realize who it was until I walked away, and then I freaked out because of who it was.

When I was 30, I met Peter DeLuise (formerly of 21 Jump Street, and now producer of the Stargate SG-1 tv series). Ran into him in a video game arcade.

When I was shopping at Costco, my son thought he saw a celebrity he knew. Turns out it was Shiri Appleby (formerly of Roswell tv series). We both went up to her, I verified with her who she was, then I had my son ask for her autograph - he was obsessed with her back then.

And about 10 years ago, my son attended a special camp called Camp Baywatch. At the closing ceremonies, I got to meet the then-current cast members, including David Hasselhoff, and Olivia Newton-John. OF course, my SON got to spend a whole week with them....

Guess that's what I get for living in Southern California.

I met Mike Schank from "American Movie" and "Storytelling". I actually drove him around while we went to a show and then some Mexican restaurant. I met him because he's friends with a friend of mine.

I also met Jello Biafra, the lead singer of the Dead Kennedys at one of his shows.

My wife was hit on by the singer of some famous band whose name I can't remember, but would know if I heard. She turned him away, and when he left, all these girls came rushing up to her like "DO YOU KNOW WHO THAT WAS!! OH MY GOD!! I CAN'T BELIEVE HE WAS HITTING ON YOU!!"
