The problem is that I'm very particular.
I'm looking for a sword that is:
-Not too expensive
-Handcrafted in the UK or Ireland
-Battle-worthy/able to be sharpened

Yea, I read about that site. Based in Hamburg, Germany. Chances are those aren't handcrafted in the British Isles.

Have you tried a Renaissance Festival. There is a magazine that comes out bimonthly called Renaissance that has a list of all festivals in the back. Angel swords are great swords but can get expensive quick.

I don't know about being crafted on the isles, but I usually go thru museum replicas limited to get mine-- they are battle ready and can withstand brutal fighting; some are fairly cheap, but I think you get what you pay for.

Doesn't exist, they're expensive

Now if you want a replica sword to sharpen up and dance aroundthe living room, you have a choice of dozens of companies to buy them from.
