I think that the marriage of a priest is ethically neutral. People tend to forget that many different religious sects allow married priests. This includes one of the largest branches of Christianity, Eastern Orthodoxy. Also, Roman Catholicism allows married priests in some cases, for example, if an Eastern Orthodox priest wishes to convert. The practice of priestly celibacy is more disciplinary than doctrinal.

I don't think a priest true to his job responsibilities can assume marriage commitments without any conflict.
