As a teen-ager, we did it all the time. We did get someone to page Mike Hunt over the PA system at Mayfair Mall once. There were so many, I can't even remember.

My mom used to work at a beauty salon, and she answered a few pranks. The 2 that have stayed in my mind for so many years are: 'This is a crank phone call, do you have any requests?' & some guy calling in saying, "I'm wearing babydoll pajamas and I wish you could see me!" Mom responded, with a laugh, "I wish I could, too!"

Yep, sure did and the prank was on us.(we were in our early 20's, married) This gal (cousin & I)....We called the PD and reported streakers back when...the guys had wrapped up in sheets and had a bannana peel on their heads and went out to walk around the block. We got the bright idea to call, then when they didn't come back we went to look for them in our pj's. So as the cops drive by they stop us and guess who they think we are???? They were gonna take us to jail and the guys in the mean time had gone back to the house and put on clothes and rescued us....We never told anyone "we" were the ones who made the call to begin with. I can laugh now, but at the time not one of our brightest ideas.

When I was a teenager I worked at a bowling alley and we would get the:
"Do you have 10 pound balls?" call a lot. lol
I of course would just say no and there would be dead silence on the other end while they tried to think of what to say next.
But yeah as a kid my friends and I made all kinds of goofy prank calls to random numbers in the phone book.
The ordering pizza for people we didn't like thing was still big then too lol.

Yes,me and my Best friend opened the phone book and call some weird last name and we left him a message saying that it was Wall-mart and that he had a bill for $300,000 for cheese.Then the next day he call back and said that he never knew about it and we that we made a mistake.It was so funny,but we told him about it and he didn't think it was funny:(

I called my local radio station once and they pranked my mom on the air. She was all upset that I had gotten breast implants and said I did it just to make her mad. There's a lot cheaper and more effective ways to make her mad. Anyway, I had the station call her and say that one of my boobs blew up and I was being taken to the hospital....Hysterical.
