I seriously doubt it but why don't you call the nightclub/bar ahead of time and find out?
I guess you could always use your drivers license if you got one, why not?

Use your passport or driver license or state issued photo/"liquor" ID. Keep your passport somewhere really safe (does your purse have a zipper pocket INSIDE it that you can put it into immediately after showing it at the door? or a hidden pocket in your jacket?)...
That said, a lot of bars in Montreal won't ID you it is reasonable to think you're in your early 20s. If you look like you're in your teens or are just bordering 18, you'll have some trouble maybe.
You can't show a passport photocopy.

No. It has to be original picture ID. Like your drivers license. It doesn't matter where the drivers license is from. And if none, you'll have to bring your passport.
ANYONE can doctor a fake birth date onto a photocopy of an ID.

Get a passport carrier. Wear it around your neck under your shirt.
No one accepts passport copies. A drivers license MAY work but don't count on it.
