I have my domain name and hosting through godaddy.com that came with an SSL certificate. I asked their TECH how I can get just the purchase areas of my webpage to work under the SSL and not the whole site. She said it cant be done and only the entire site could be SSL protected. Is there a way around this? I see hundreds of sites with seperate SSL areas. In other words I want my site to be http://mysite.com and when they go to purchase have them go to https://mysite.com/buynow so that just that area was protected. Please help...Thanks

The certificate is attached to the domain name, and I don't think you can make it work any differently. You can still access your site with http, and reserve https for the shopping pages. I don't see how the availability of protected access presents a problem.
