Hi,

when I read "camps and exercises", to me that implies that you have been doing just quick things to try and learn the craft of acting. If that is true, I would suggest you get into a good school or an on-going acting class with a good, experienced teacher. On-going means exactly that. You take that class or series of technique classes to the end (for Meisner tech I, tech II and tech III). Then either while you are taking one of those classes or when you are finished taking the series (which could take a year or more in a good program), you can begin an on-going scene study class.

I have no doubt in my mind, that if you have an ounce of talent and potential, if you apply yourself and if you have a good teacher who is capable of pulling out the best in you, that you will improve by leaps and bounds.

Here are some pages on my website for new actors that might help you:
http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/taking_acting_classes.html on the benefits of taking acting classes. I list 23.
And there's this one on how to choose the right acting school, teacher, class: http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/acting_classes.html

If that's not enough, then you might consider downloading my free 36-page ebook called How To Start An Acting Career. It will take you through some other important considerations and also provides a resource guide. One consideration you might find particularly interesting is one about the different methods of acting there are. Anyway, the ebook is free when you register on the site.

Hope this helps!

Tony
